Del Rosario was looking good until his accident, they should definitely bring him over.
I think the biggest question is if Zuffa plans on having Barnett vs. Cormier on a UFC card. If the Strikeforce HW division will be gone by the Summer of 2012 and the Barnett/Cormier fight is set for sometime in March - it makes more sense for Zuffa to sign these two under the UFC banner, sooner rather than later. Win or lose, both guys belong in The UFC anyway.
Cormier said in inside mma he didn't want to fight in the UFC because Cain his training partner fights there in that same weight class. Guess he has not much of a choice now.
Irule - It's too bad that Sergei is such a one trick pony these days. Once it gets to the ground you know the fight is over.

Barnett is going no where. Expect the rest to leave him behind.
You know how the game works, when a fighter beats you he takes your wins away essentially. When that fighter loses after beating you, your loss becomes a double negative, which is why no matter how bad we want it Fedor will never be in the UFC. He is too expensive for a guy who hasn't beaten anyone since cro cop, and wouldn't be deserving of a title shot.
No doubt that Barnett is a star, he is the equivalent of Brock, maybe not in PPV power yet but in star power he rivals Brock and would be a huge money maker for the UFC. His problem is that he is reckless and you cant control him or count on him. As smart as he is, he has not taken great care of his career and has not ever watched the big picture. In the short term he has thought as well as anyone, but he can't think past his next paycheck or he would not have juiced all 3 times that he has. This whole, "one more fight after the grand prix" deal is the "we really don't want to have to sign Barnett" plan.
If cormier wins they will put him against a gate-keeper, and win or lose he will be signed by UFC. Much like Fedor, if this scenario happens, Barnett's star power will not die but his negotiating power, as well as his ability to argue with Dana when Dana says "Barnett hasn't beaten anyone, and he just lost" will be gone. Then the UFC can sign Barnett on their terms, or ignore him for the rest of his career a la Fedor.
If Barnett wins, my guess will be the UFC will do everything in their power to make him lose on his last strikeforce deal by putting him against a no-name super wrestler. Then say, "Well we'd sign him but we never sign guys coming off of a loss, and he lost to a gate keeper." They will also be able to say he isn't worth the money that he wants.
If Barnett wins both of his last strikeforce fights the UFCwill have him fight Carwin in his first fight back, and if he wins that one more win before they will give him a title shot. The UFC can't risk Barnett having the belt again as he will just fuck it up, or at least they have to be mindful of that, and as much as I enjoy him you guys all know he probably will do just that. Its just a matter of time before he starts to flake or tests positive, and much like Ricco is experiencing now they don't trust him, maybe he has changed but how can you risk taking him back? Most people either learn to stop juicing or to stop getting caught juicing and Barnett is actually a smart guy, but hasn't learned this one yet.
Cormier for sure, Barnett not so sure. Josh has a lot of baggage and Dana does not seem to be a fan.
