(I tried to make this a second ago, don't think it worked. I did a search and can't find my post, sorry if dbl)
Just curious as to what everyone thinks about this, you hear it all the time during the broadcast or after the fight has happened. Ex. "Fighter A didn't do enough to fighter B to win a decision to take the belt"
My question is do you think who has the belt actually matters with the judging system we currently have? I'm not a judge but when I'm scoring rounds on my own, I never stop and think who has the belt and then decide who I think won the round.
I think who has the belt might matter a little more if the judging was like pride, where they looked at the entire fight instead of round by round.
Thoughts?
