. . . how smart is it of the UFC to hold 2 ppv's in the same month?

Furthermore, in retrospect, shouldn't those cards have been condensed into one, given the watered down nature of 93's undercard and bottom 2 main card bouts?

There's two industries that are historically not affected as greatly as the rest. Organized crime, and certain aspects of show business-entertainment. Zuffa is banking on Affliction taking the loss being in the middle of their two PPV cards.

their profit margins are huge, they are unlikely to take a loss, and really they are just trying to shut down Affliction. It's both business and personal at this point I think.
