I want to throw on some objectivity to the perpetual Fedor debate, so I did a little statistical analysis and thought it may be useful.
Of Fedor’s last 5 opponents, the combined win-loss record after fighting Fedor is a staggering 3-9.
I think this statistic emphasizes the fact that Fedor usually faces opponents that have long ago peaked and are in the midst of downward career trends (save Sam’s Club employee Brett Rogers) and seriously illegitimizes Fedor’s accomplishments in the past 3 years.
His opponents’ 3 wins are over fighters such as Jason Riley (never fought in the UFC), Fabio Nascimento (never fought in the UFC), and Jose Canseco.... Jose Canseco!
The UFC will always be where the best come to fight and prove they are the best. Fedor wouldn’t get out of the first round with any of the top 5 UFC HWs.
But if you want to turn your back to objective analysis, then just LOOK at they guy. He’s not the most physically fit guy you’ll ever see.

I am a huge Fedor fan but I think that Carwin and Brock both beat him. They do this by being just plain huge and strong and with incredible wrestling.
I think that right now Fedor beats Dos Santos, Mir and Cain.

The only ufc heavy that is a challenge is Fedor is JDS, and maybe Brock, depends on how he looks in his next fight
Cain almost got ko'd by Cheik awful standup Kongo and beat a Big Nog that is way past his prime
Shane Carwin almost got ko'd by Gonzaga, and beat Mir, is that grounds for saying he beats Fedor
Brock layed on Herring, is 1-1 against Mir, and was having a tough time with lhw sized Randy
Mir, beats a injured beaten down Big Nog, then loses rematch with Brock and gets his asskicked against Carwin
and Brett Rogers was Fedor's last fight, probably the best guy on that recent list, and Fedor has 3 straight fights against top 10 heavies, 2 of the 3 might have been ranked top 5 when he beat them

His opponents combined record since fighting him is a total of 20 wins and 21 loses. 2 fights a year fighting UFC rejects and guys who have never fought on a major card shouldn't be enough to keep you at #1. He loses to Brock, Dos Santos, or Carwin.
There isnt ONE HW you can currently justify ranking over Fedor.Not one.
