I can’t think of a fight where a challenger was more badly outclassed.
Apparently Till landed only 1 strike in 10 minutes.
He looked petrified of Woodley.
Dominated on the feet and on the ground.
To think Dana was trashing Woodley all week as if he was finally going to get a new champ.
I think you have to go back to Anderson knocking out Griffin with a jab to find a more humiliating loss.
Yeah it was a pretty awful performance from a challenger.
Alverez getting boy’d by McGregor was a more humiliating loss than Griffins.
Hell no. Anderson vs Griffin was something never seen before or since. CM vs Alvarez was definitely a one-sided beatdown but not nearly as freakish an outclassing as Anderson vs Forrest.
There is one punch/kick KOs, and then these knockdown + long beat up affairs like we saw. So not THAT bad. Problem is Till didn’t do shit, which makes it look a lot worse.
Woodley is so hatable with his race card talk, constant whining, strategies that can be boring despite his skill sets - he doesn’t care for the fans, just the Q by the rules set. But he is damn good, complete, and very strategic.
I feel like to get outclassed, the fight shouldn’t go all 5 rounds...i don’t usually think ‘holy shit that guy got outclassed’ when they get snuggled to death in an uneventful fight.
now Franklin, Alvarez, all of Ronda’s fights, win or lose, those are good examples
