Aldo would win every time. Probably a decision but in no world do I see max out fighting aldo. 

Jose Aldo is technically the best fighter ever, the conor ko was some once in a lifetime crazy shit prolly brought on by his emotions. I swear people think aldo is just some average fighter now because of that, he's not. 

Frankie Edgar is also one of the most skilled fighters in the game and had absolutely nothing for Jose, he was shut down at every opportunity and angle. Go watch Frankie's other fights and see him destroy people. Outbox them, take them down, gnp, whatever he wants and he couldn't even touch aldo.

Mac has some good fights to defend his belt: Aldo, Frankie, Pettis, Max, others.

I don't think Max would make Aldo his bitch or anything, I just like Max' striking over Aldo's. Besides me being a biased Hawaiian, my reasoning partly would be this:
Aldo: 9 UFC fights, 2 finishes both by strikes.
Max: 14 UFC fights, 6 finishes 3 by strikes.
More finishes dues to strikes makes him a better striker in my book. Phone Post 3.0
