Wow Uriah hall

strict9 - Great luck but a early stoppage. I really hate that if you throw a flurry when someone is hurt they stop the fight. Gegard was hurt but not done at all. Phone Post 3.0

It looked like he was expecting the trade mark heel spin to the head, and ducked into a body kick instead.

Like both guys, but a little disappointed for Moose since he was so dominant in the first.

2inchpunisher - Hate fights like this hall was showing nothing then throws a hail Mary and it lands. Now we have to hear about his potential while he's losing to middle the road guys again. Sigh. I've been around too long. Phone Post 3.0
Hall is 4-1 in his last 5 fights. Gegard is 2-2 in his last 4 fights. I'm a Gegard fan, just point out how stupid you sound by shitting on Hall. Phone Post 3.0

So which was the Hail Mary? The beautiful spinning back kick to the face or the brutal follow-up flying knee to the face?

Chainsaw Charles - Gave me flashbacks of The Crow. That was amazing!
Are you officially off the HL vid for best spinning back kick in MMA now? Phone Post 3.0

tommyNOfilter - I'm pretty sure hall is a sociopath. He looked like he wanted to murder anik, and then tear the translators head off.

but, I guess I'm just a bullshit fan

Hall is the opposite of a sociopath.  He has talked at length about how he struggles with the nature of the sport because he doesn't like hurting people.  Watch the TUF he was on and see how much the Cella headkick KO fucked him up mentally after that fight.  If anything, he could benefit from being a little less compassionate.

He showed nothing?

Were we watching the same fight?

Hall is a kickboxing specialist who not only survived almost an entire round on the ground with Gegard Mousasi, but he also managed to sweep him with a kimura from his back and then transitioned that into a sweet armbar.  I was more impressed by that than I was by the finish.  We already knew Hall had ridiculous kicking power, speed, and accuracy.  We didn't know he handle himself on the ground like that.

How about that shitty indecisive ref? Phone Post 3.0

^^^ BTW! Didn't see the fight, don't know if that's the type of fight this was, just agreeing with how volatile mma is and the commentary after such a fight. Phone Post 3.0

I wonder if that was halls last fight on contract, he could be making big buck s soon

He got caught man give hall some respect. Gegard will be back on another win streak after this. Phone Post 3.0

Dude Mousasi is on the verge of flaming out of the UFC.

He will be fighting in Japn with Fedor soon.

No excuse for him to lose to Hall.
In all fairness anyone could have got caught with that kick. Moose is still the man and I hope he gets back on track. He is always top 5 in my book. Phone Post 3.0

Mousasi looked great up until the TKO. He can still make waves in the division for sure.

What I love about Hall is that he strikes with aim and intent, like Fedor and some others. Most fighters just throw stuff at random hoping for good luck most of the time.

Back story?

May be a bit of a side thought but I really hope they keep Weidman, Whittaker, & Uriah away from eachother just a little longer to let them build a bit more and develope their skills even further. (Yes I know Uriah and weidman have fought allready but was fairly early in their careers iirc.) I think other guys at 185 like Rockhold, Jacare, Romero should be on the title line up and rotation in a sense long enough to either let Chris beat them and build himself or let him take a loss and gain the ability to take some fights against more legends to build his resume. But I'd especially fights against the classic guys for Uriah and Whittaker as they need it a bit more. But if all three keep improving I can't even comprehend a matchup between any combination out of that 3 in the next 1-4 years. Phone Post 3.0
