Yoshida without Gi?

I have not seen the Royce/Yoshida fight yet so I'm wondering for those of you who have.

Would it have been different in your opinion if upon seeing Royce taking off his Gi top Yoshida had as well?

Like I said I haven't seen it yet but what do those of you that have think of this scenario?

People who fight MMA in a gi when their opponent is gi-less are fools. That was true when Royce wore one and it is true with Yoshida as well.

You allow your opponent to much control.
