Your 2006 Accomplishments???

Bump for more!

Got promoted to Staff Sergeant in 4 and a half years going from E-4 to E-6 in 7 months...I'm proud of that one!!!

That's impressive Tango. I remember guys who were
E-5's for like, 16 years....those guys got no respect.

racked up a great ranking in grappling

After a decade of wanting to do it I booked travel to train in Thailand !!

I don't post very often but feel it's time to start spreading the gospel

more. After seeing UFC 1 live I knew this was the most exciting event in

the world. My friend and I went to UFC 3 in North Carolina. My friend was

roommates in Japan for Judo with Christophe Leinenger that fought that night

against Ken Shamrock. I went to UFC 4,5,7,8(walked fighter in ring)11,and

countless more.

I met Tank Abbot and Tito Ortiz before they competed in the UFC.

I had amateur MMA sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for the

first time.

The show had Big John McCarthy, Bruce Buffer, and many other MMA

enthusiasts.

I want to thank all the fans and fighters that make this sport grown event

more!

Here's to another excellent year of MMA! Cheers and no fears,

Barry Meyer

TUFF (THE ULTIMATE FIGHTING FAN)

Not hard to do in the army.

I gained 10 pounds of fat, and memorized a whole Simpsons episode word for word.

- got purple belt

- partied at the playboy mansion

- cornered twice for an mma fight

- work with an mma league

- broke as fuck

- flew a plane

lots of low points too, but it was a fun and memorable year.  flew by though.

I earned my blue belt in BJJ

Someone really liked me... and it's not that hard to do in Air Defense. DOR for Sgt is Oct 05 - DOR for SSG is May 06.

I was pinned Cpl, and really had no clue how to be an NCO. Being too nice, didn't follow through with checking on stuff, soldiers taking advantage of me. Was a really weak leader.

Had this Plt. Leader who was a straight BITCH...got the job done to a ridiculously high standard, but had terrible ways of doing so...destroying my self confidence and belittleing (sp?)me in front of all the soldiers and whatnot. I finally realized exactly what it took to be a good NCO. Now it's easy...

And yes...it takes alot of dedication to get promoted that fast fcfighter1. Even in my MOS.

Broke my foot doing a foot sweep and placed 3rd in a local tourny.

This was an unbelievable year.

Got married to my highschool sweetheart

Got my Black Belt in BJJ

Got a Black Belt in KBoxing

Bought a rental house

Started a gym with Matt Hamilton that is very successful

FINALLY: Put in my notice to quit my job of 7 years. Last day is the end
of JAN.

Roli Delgado

Me and my wife had a beautiful baby girl.

I started an incredible new job.

I became a trainer at Tampa Combat.

Had the pleasure of  helping train several team members for thier MMA Pro debut.

2007 I will make my return to Pro MMA

Good luck to all of you in 2007
