ZST Tournament 2morrow...

Hey Daren, many people on this forum have seen these fighters fight before. ZST posts videos of their events on their web site, which I always make a thread for whenever I see a new one. Go to www.zst.jp and click on Movie.

Morkevicius and Tokoro have become fairly popular because of the ZST web site.

Oishi is a former Shooto champion, and has been around since the mid-90's.

The other 5, however, aren't well known. It's a rather disappointing lineup compared to last year's GP. Katsumura is an extremely exciting grappler, though.

Guys, this is a 65-kilo (143 pound) tournament.

Originally, Jeff Curran was to compete and would probably have been the favorite... but Jeff is injured and French is taking his place.

Anybody going to be there to give results??? It starts anytime now.

ttt for results.

Yuta Watanabe def. Crafter M, armbar 4:46 R1

Sam Nest def. Kestutis Smirnovas, rear naked choke 4:58 R2

Hirotaka Miyakawa def. Mike French, guillotine 4:01 R1

Masahiro Oishi def. Stephen Gillinder, armbar 0:31 R1

Remigijus Morkevicius def. Boulem Belaini, KO 0:05 R1

Hideo Tokoro def. Shuichiro Katsumura, guillotine 0:38 R1

hopefully Miyakawa vs Tokoro.....and Morkevicius vs Oishi are the final bracket.

Tokoro has no need to re-match Morkevicius for the 3rd time unless its in the finals imho.
