My understanding is that they have purchased lots of new/quality scales. They are all the same, so all should be good.
Why should you get your money back if you don't make weight? You wasted your time, Joslin's time, your opponent?s time and the ref's time.

Will there be bleachers this year? Last year it was horrendous for spectators.
Also, how about requesting that spectators that are around the mats remain seated.
