I just realized this event is Feb 17th, the same day as Fury vs Usyk and UFC 298.
If you like trainwreck freakshow type shows mixed in with the good stuff then you can’t be unhappy with that Saturday.

Well the Fury fight is off but at least there is still Shaw vs Ford on Feb 17th, supposedly.
I just looked at Shaw’s youtube channel, dude is 384 lbs and 18% bodyfat. What a monster.
They claim on their site its gonna be the largest event in MMA history and the promoters instagram still has less than 2k followers.
They no longer have Shaw and the other strongmen listed on their fighters page and I see they rid of Till and Perry as well.

Shaw, Hall, etc… have been traning UFC for youtube content so to take time out of their lives to do that someone convinced them the event was gonna happen and they were gonna get paid large sums of money. I doubt Wayne Parr believed intellectually he was getting anything close to 20M.
Its too bad Shaw does not have the genuine interest in competing in MMA that Pudzianowski had, I don’t care what anyone says, strongman fights can be entertaining and Pudz became a dangerous fighter who had some fun fights.
Obviously I didn’t believe the promoters claims about what the event would do and what sort of funding it had but I still had some hope the strongman fights would happen given all the fights going down in the middle east at the moment.
I have all these guys in my YouTube algorithm so see their stuff here and there. Well aware of their training and shit.
