Agree w/deadliest warrior?

I like the parts when they smash/stab/shoot/ stuff.

Mostly the smashing though.

"I think it is the best show on TV. "

LMMFAO

Whoa boys, that totally crushed that stationary fake human's "skull". Well that would definitely kill someone. That must mean they win.

Repeat 20 times=every single episode of deadliest warrior ever

Awesome show. Just because it's stupid, doesn't mean it's not good

This show has been the greatest divider of rational thought, races, and different cultures since religion.

asn - the thing about that show is it all really depends on which weapons they choose for each fighter and whatever ranking they give it in the computer program. I didn't understand how the stiletto got the edge over the big ass bowie knife, just because you could conceal it.

Just because the "experts" think one weapon has an advantage doesn't mean the computer program does.  The Bowie still had 14 kills in the simulation as opposed to the stiletto's 1.  This happens more often than not in the program.  Another example was last night when the "experts" thought the Roman Dalabra would have the advantage over the Raj[ut's katar, but in the smilulation, the katar had more than double the kills (234) over the dolabra (114)

"The longbow is one of the deadliest weapons there is. It can pierce plate armor. The only thing preventing it from being overpowered is that it requires a lot of skill to use.

Attila, Genghis etc are extremely skilled with the bow, that's why they win against people like Alexander. (hand to hand too, actually, Alexander was more of a general than a fighter where Attila and Genghis grew up fighting).

TOA"

Comparing the long bow to what ghangis khan was using and especially what attila was using is like comparing a .50 cal rifle to a .22 pistol.

Its one of the main reasons the british won several battles against the french in the hundred year war.

Alexander was undefeated and conquered the entire known world. Attila was trounced by the Romans. He didn't win pitch battles against soldiers. He raided villages and killed people who where civilians.

Alexander lead his troops from the front. On one ocassion he was the first soldier to get over the walls of a fort. He was badly injuried because of it. You don't know jack about history.

"Genghis didn't use a longbow (Footman's bow) they used horse mounted bows, which were MUCH smaller and not as powerful."

"Comparing the long bow to what ghangis khan was using and especially what attila was using is like comparing a .50 cal rifle to a .22 pistol."

Actually the long bow and composite bow were pretty similar in strength.

The main advantage of the composite bow was that it was smaller and could be used on horse back, the disadvantage was that the glue that held it together was weakened while wet and the bow could come apart after prolonged exposure.
