Anik is solid. One could make an argument that at this stage of his UFC commentating career vs Joe Rogan when he first started, that Anik is off to a more comfortable start.
That being said though, Joe is the Anderson Silva, the Fedor, the Royce Gracie of this shit. Anik has done a great job filling in, but the clear difference to me is when the fight gets to the ground. Again, Anik did/does a great job on the commentating and doesn't sound ignorant, but Joe...
Joe breaks down things way better. If a fighter is in half guard, he not only explains what the guy on the bottom needs to do and HOW to do it, but he does the same thing for the guy on top and describes where he needs to go, what he needs to do to get there, and HOW to do it.

Anik is a lot better than Goldberg. I agree. What's missing from this broadcast is a more animated color commentator and Joe would compliment Anik quite well there.
