I am considering putting some money down.
On sportsbook this is what im looking at.
Ian McCall is at +250 to win his fight and + 900 to win the Flyweight tourny
Yasuhiro Urushitani is at + 500 to win his fight and + 1000 to win the Flyweight tourny.
What say you UG 50 and 50 on each guy to win the fight and 100 on each to win the tourament? Or 100 and 100 for each to win their fight and 50 and 50 to win the tourny?
Or save my $$ and not bet at all, Demetrious J and J Benavidez will win this.
Seems Like there is a chance to make a few bucks in this tourny!

Hes @ -800 to win his fight and @ -170 to win the tourny. I see why he is favored but im hoping cutting the extra 10lbs makes a diffrence for him. Im assuming its harder on the lil guys.

Thats why I made this thread, I wanted to get some Insight. if you spread your 100 dollars out on Ian and Yashuhiro you can still make some money. But they are both Underdogs. I can see either one of them taking these fights and I Dont see either of them getting shut out. But who knows. I honestly am terrible on betting MMA. I lost money on Shogun Machida 1, Shogun Jones, Sanchez Ellenberger, and Diaz vs Marcus Davis. Ive won a few bucks here and there but I am in the red.

There's no value in prop bets in MMA. Too many things can happen to fuck up the value, especially in a tourney setting.
Only value on the card is less then a U on Alves and maybe somewhere btwn .9 and 1.25u on McGee

i put small bets (less than 100) on fights I'm not really interested in so I can enjoy all the fights on the card. Might sound strange but it makes it so i am interested in every fight.
That is of course for the fights they're offering lines on. Many they don't.
but it does make it fun.
I didnt understand your last sentence, but I figured Urushanti and Ian are the top guys at 125. Sure the other two are monsters at 135. But cutting an extra 10 lbs might affect them(im hoping it does). If one of my guys wins their fight I am in the green. If they both lose, then thats about 200 bucks out the window. I think I feel like more of a fan for believing in Ian and placing a small wager on him(It's pretty awesome for someone who post here to be in the bigshow). If I win ill buy some gear of his site. If I lose its no biggie I just wont party as much in March.
I think the Creepy/Mighty Mouse is weak. Johnson should be favored but Creepy had much more value when he was over +300 places. Betting him at the +260ish lines you see now is counterproductive when you have lost 40 points of "value". I'm thinking of a .15 - .2u play on Creepy but just hard to do when he's been betted down on every book. I know Bellagio had him like +250 today, +260 yesterday.

If at least one of my guys doesnt will I will give up MMA betting. I know that I dont think about odds or any of that crap when I bet MMA. I just go for who I like. I guess its true a fool and his money are easily parted. That being said I hope if my guys lose that they at least keep it competetive. If parlaying bets gave an advantage to the bettor, the books would not offer parlays. You have to see that. They are not going to give an advantage dude. I've worked in casinos from Vegas to France, but to each his own. You can't do it over time.
Every fight has a line you have to squeeze, which odds are better: squeezing four at once or squeezing one at a time?
