Honestly no idea, my point is that calling a move by its "original" name is kinda silly given we'd need to go so far back that we're in dead languages. The main goal should be simplicity so the audience can understand the moves without needing a Japanese to English dictionary or needing to understand the mysteries of Eddie Bravos mind.
Mind you I'm not immune to pretension, I call a kimura a double wrist lock and when ring announcers ask what I'd like to be billed as i say "shootfighter"
I'm going to channel the spirit of danaher to describe something that happened yesterday on the ufc card.

I like the Danaher version, but I'm a pretty weird fucker so take that for what it's worth.
I dunno I've hung around too many pretentious people in my life now i have a low tolerance for it, that sort of hiding basic meaning behind specialised jargon pisses me off.
