Anyone think A. Silva is NOT lb for lb best???

It's getting pretty hard now to say that Anderson isn't the best pound for pound fighter in the world. Fedor has had reason to slip a bit, GSP is great, but I don't know how Silva isn't CLEARLY the best fighter overall at this point.

Anyone disagree?

Did I miss something? Is Forrest Griffin now the gauge for the top p4p fighter in the world?

No, but when you clean out a whole division, and then move up in weight and utterly dominate and embarrass a former champion, you have wonder if anyone is better.

^true
still not the best p4p imo

hes definately on his way there, however

What about me, and me and me?

Sincerely, Torres, Georgie and  big Aleks

Fedor is P4P King

anyone with true unbiased knowledge knows this

anderson has been P4P best for a couple years now. fedor fights either cans or washups, and only fights once per year at most now. while fedor is fighting once per year, anderson is fighting 3-4 times a year in two different weight classes and dominating all his top competition. not to mention making the former LHW champ look like an amatuer. P4P title belongs to anderson now. anyone who argues that is an idiot.

Nope.

Right now, Anderson is better. Anderson hasn't been in a competitive fight in years.

this is a good question though: whos p4p king

its the litmus test for seeing who knows their shit and who doesnt

noobs shouldnt even be allowed to post anymore.. they base their thoughts on absolutely nothing.. they have no point of reference outside of their 6 months of exposure to a sport.. why even post seriously.. as if your pointless input is needed..

Yes, let's turn a discussion about who is P4P best RIGHT NOW into losses that occured five years ago.

when anderson is in true trouble in a fight than i will put him ahead of FEDOR. he has basically controlled his fights in the ufc. don't get me wrong i love anderson but i just think FEDOR has the extra mental aspect that makes a true master. he may not be the greatest technically but he has the clutch it factor

careers need to be taken into account when discussing P4P king. You cant set some sort of false time frame by which only criteria that suits your case is presented

Fedor period

Anderson is top P4P.

Fedor is the "best".

Machida and GSP would both beat him IMO.

DarrenJG:"clean out a whole division, and then move up in weight" by that you mean "only cutting less weight than before"
