Are we underestimating Brock Lesnar?

Here me out.. He's been out several years.. He was/is in WWE

HOWEVER, from what I've seen, he has been wrestling for WWE maybe a few times a year.. He doesnt do house shows, shows up once or max twice for when he is scheduled at a ppv and he only does 2-3 PPVs a year

Can it be possible that he had been training over the years with all that time off? Is he hiding it by saying hes only been training for a month or two?

Having a hard time believing that. Get ready to be shocked Phone Post 3.0

Yes. Phone Post 3.0

nope, Hunto is going to bodybag him

We probably are underestimating him in terms of his current in-cage ability -probably hasnt improved but may not have got worse -. But I cant get past the fact that Hunt hits like a truck and Brock just really hates being hit, shells up and offers nothing back when he does.

Ingot Hunt by early KO. Not because I think Brock is bad at all, but because Hunt just hits far too hard for him to withstand.

Ramon Maroni - nope, Hunto is going to bodybag him
So you think Brock hasnt been trying the past 4 years(regardless of whether Hunt wins or not) Phone Post 3.0

It's possible. It's not like he trains at a big gym with other guys.. He makes his own camp so it would be apt easier to hide that he's been training Phone Post 3.0

But to be good you have to hone your skills with top coaches AND training partners. That you can't "hide" or do in secret.

trying what?

WWE?? and making a lot of $$$$$

no, I am basing this on his 4 yr lay off and being 4 yrs older, Hunto has only gotten better the last 4 yrs

has Brock been training, I dont know, maybe some, but being in the WWE, I can assure you takes up a lot of his training time

bottom line is BLAF threw "fuck you" $$$ to Brock after Conor bailed on 200

Brock prolly wants to win, but it was prolly so much money it doesnt matter either way, win or lose

he wins, he might fight again, he loses he prolly wont

Hunt via walkoff KO that will add to his highlight reel collection of them.

The way Brock shoots he's just asking to get glanced with an uppercut or hook to the temple.

Hasn't Dana been talking about Brock coming back every 6 months?

I think Brock was thinking about coming back for a while, probably been training for 6 months +

Fuck it's mma. Anything can happen. I hope Hunto wins though. Phone Post 3.0

Says who? Money can't buy all 3? Coaches, partners, and secrecy? Phone Post 3.0

I have been trying to find out if he has been training this whole time.  I heard rumors that he had been training for quite a while prior to this decision as in alot longer than 6 months.  However, nobody had really been able to confirm it.  I would say that if Brock is genuine and thinks this is really something he needs to do for himself and to the best of his ability then he has probably been training for a while but who knows. I am hoping that he is being genuine and that he is not just doing this for the money.

Brock is the kind of guy that is very competitive and if he doesn't feel that he was able to do his best, then he isn't going to be ok with it.  The return fight doesn't surprise me, but against someone like Hunt I really hope he has been prepairing because he is going to need it.

The thing with this fight. If Hunt hits you once you go out. If Brock takes you down once it is over as well.

Going to be a quick fight and fans will be left wishing to see Conor and Diaz.

The only question here is does Brock get the takedown or does HuntO stuff the first few attempts and land a walk off KO

I think Brock has an edge athletically and can get the takedown and put Hunt in trouble. First round stoppage for Brock is what I'm betting on Phone Post 3.0

I think people overestimate if anything

Possible but doubtful.  He's been doing a hunting show, has a farm in minnesota and bought another one in Canada, literally doing farming/hunting that takes a lot of his time, has 4 kids and one step kid....so I'm guessing if he has trained it's been fairly casual and in limited amounts.  But you never know, he has gained a belt in BJJ so maybe he's working at it more than we think.

I think it's safe to assume he's been training for a while. You would have to be a mad man to come back otherwise. No one wants to lose on such a high profile platform and the anguish of not feeling prepared would be a huge psychological disadvantage! Phone Post 3.0
