Robbie should get a rematch first.

This would make far more sense. Robbie was winning that fight until Herb fucked up, versus Askren was definitively finished by Masvidal.

Only way I could see this happening is if Jorge got a YUGE payday and was on a bigger losing streak than he already is. Nothing to lose and a lot of money to make

Herb fucks up a lot, but I dont blame him for this one.
The way Robbies arm fell made him look unconscious. I would have stopped it after I saw that too.

Masvidal’s knee was a brilliant strategy, planned and executed to perfection. As a one-dimensional wrestler with the worst hands in the sport, Askren’s only goal in a fight is to get it to the ground as quickly as possible. Masvidal knew if he ran at Askren his instinctive reaction would be to dive for his legs. And he timed it perfectly. He had the perfect fight, a rematch does nothing for him.
