Basketball players and Delts

I've noticed most basketball players have extremely
developed shoulders (front, side, and rear) almost
OVER developed.

Is this because of their sport? or do they do extra
training with their shoulders? I am lacking in the
shoulder development area especially side and rear.
Although I did some handstand pushups the other day
and it pumped my shoulders (front) like no other.
Excited about incorporating them into my workout.

Well, to answer your question, they use those muscles a LOT in their sport- you'll notice that their arms are always up, defending, shooting, etc.


Also, these are professional atheletes- they're gifted physically, so they'll generally have great muscle development.

I hate basketball. I've found I only like sports that involve laying down- bjj, bodyboarding, etc.
