Does anyone know of somewhere that teaches jiu jitsu or judo or anything of the sort?
yes im currently in belleville and there is not much of a grappling scene here.
traditional jiu jitsu is downtown on front street near the pier. That place is called belleville karate and jiu jitsu.
Stirling judo club is located at the threatre. Its not competitive, more of family orientated but good.
Id take Judo over tjj
I travel to Kingston to train in Brazilian JJ and Combat Submission Wrestling.
whats your email pigdog? I can give you some info on the clubs around here or if you want to head down to Kingston for some real grappling.

looks like carpool to Kingston.
CBK Kingston!!!
Sensei Mike Sweeney and his CBK school offers Brazilian Jiu-itsu, Kali, Muay Thai, Karate and lots of other good stuff, plus its also what I call "Seminar central". Mike gets all the best top fighters/instructors/coaches in the world to do seminars at his place like Matt Thornton, Eric Paulson, Jean-Jaques Machado, Eddie Bravo and more.
Its a highy-recommened school.

Thanks for the kind words, guys.
pigdog: We currently have half a dozen guys who travel to
Kingston from the Belleville/Trenton area to train in our Grappling
classes. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at
613-547-2822. Perhaps you can carpool with some of the guys.
Mike
When I lived in Belleville I always tried to get some grappling in at the "Boo"
Some of those girls had tight triangles...
Would anyone be willing to pick up a guy who lives at the college res for car pooling?
