neilsen ratings have been calculated. overnight ratings are available at 7am the following morning. I am a tv producer and we go over the overnight ratings every morning. BET has the numbers, they just aren't releasing them....i will see if i can abuse my neilsen account and get my hands on them.
The reason they are not releasing them is because the overnight ratings only show the total number of people watching your show and does not break it down by key demographics. The numbers were probably not that impressive, so they will wait and hope that when the monthly book comes out it will show high numbers in the key demos and they can crow about that.

The first two shows were utter crap. I've talked to various fighters and they all say that the fights were really good and the list of up-and-coming fighters is impressive but if you have to wade through manure to find the gold, most will not watch it.
Shows like this live and die by editing and so far they lose. Flashing ambulances every 5 minutes is not my idea of a "good thing". The IFL was killed on these same boards for that very same trick in their first "Battlegrounds" showing.

Listen, just b/c the show sucks and people are saying it sucks does not = racism. I was actualy hoping for the best for the show despite it being led by a subculture I personally don't care for. They brought in some MMA trainers and I hoped for the best. then they pull in guys that don't train themselves or have any clue about mma training. 'OH shit'.
I still hoped for the best.
Then I watched the show. HOLY SHIT THAT SUCKED. The show could turn around and be a success. but I will not be watching. I watched enough crapt last week. i'll simply wait and download the fights at a later time when i don't have to listen to more shitty dialogue.
