Styles make fights. Any fighter that comes forward may die Vs Lewis.
Francis may beat gane but I don’t see Francis beating lewis and I don’t see Lewis beating gane.
If it plays out the right way then Lewis could be champ. That’s not a gatekeeper.
If he does become champ DC will probably come back n become champ.

Lewis has Shown the most mixed style out of them all. Evades takedowns. Ability to scramble have slight ground defense. Moreover he is more patient with striking than them all.
Gane has just showed high level striking from up top.
Bladyes has shown some boxing but just mostly wrestling .
Ngonnou has only showing really explosive power. Being long and exploding.
Stipé is just older now. If he would’ve utilized the clinch and his wrestling he could’ve tired Ngonnou out! He could’ve grinded a dec over him.

I think Chiek Kongo was a true HW gatekeeper in the UFC. Lewis is a few notches above that.

I disagree. Fran might have his number but Blaydes was taking it to Lewis before he landed that bomb. I wouldn’t say it was luck, but it was a hail Mary that landed.
If Blaydes can wipe those KOsoff his mind he can be champ. I think Curtis has the best chance of beating Gane

He only got a title shot because the division is SO THIN
But there’s only about 5 good Heavyweights in the entire UFC
Doesn’t matter. He is the monster you need to beat to crack the top 5
Damn this just made me realize how weak the HW division is. Stipe was definitely the most well rounded. But I feel like we’ve seen much better and more well rounded fighters in the past. It’s almost like HW is devolving instead of evolving.
