Now just days away from the fight, Bisping is more motivated than ever to dispatch of Miller when they meet in the cage. Not only did he have to deal with him for six weeks during the taping of the show, but Bisping has been paying attention to a lot of Miller’s interviews where he said that he would put the Brit away in the first round and finish the work that Dan Henderson started when they fought at UFC 100.
For all the talk, Bisping believes that Miller is legitimately underestimating him and that’s a mistake he’s very happy to capitalize on.
“He’s underestimating me, just like all opponents, the same run of events, the same things get said in every fight. ‘Oh Bisping he’s not good at this, he’s not good at that’ and they have a different opinion by the time they’re checking out of the hospital after the fight. Six of my last seven opponents, that’s where they went to the hospital, and Jason Miller’s going to be no different,” Bisping said.
“I hope he hasn’t booked an after party for after the fight cause if he does, he’s going to be spending it with a couple of nurses. I saw an interview he did recently where he said he’s going to knock me out and submit me in the first round. I’ve got to say I did laugh quite heartily when I read that. That’s what I said on the show when he said ‘I’m going to knock you out’, I said when have you knocked anyone out? When’s the last time I got submitted? Never. I’m looking forward to kicking his ass, can’t wait.”

Anyone with half a brain can figure out why he's still around and why he's fed certain fighters....I'm not sure how some have him ranked in the top ten. He has never beat a fighter ranked in the top ten.......

don't think that was one of his last 7 fights but if it was then it would def be him.
Bispings last 7 fights = Leben, Hendo, Kang, Silva, Miller, Akiyama, Rivera.
Wow. And I was just thinking Bisping deserved credit for limiting the hyperbole when he actually said he'd beat Mayhem by TKO, rather than KO.
It's just not Bisping without him overrating himself, is it? I saw a clip on TUF of him saying to Mayhem, "I'll bash your head in." or some shit like that. Sure, between all the backpeddling and running Bisping usually does, I'm sure Mayhem really has something to fear in terms of physical injury chasing after him.
Mayhem is going to have to go to the hospital after the fight; he'll end up breaking his hand knocking Bisping the fuck out.

Anyone with half a brain can figure out why he's still around and why he's fed certain fighters....I'm not sure how some have him ranked in the top ten. He has never beat a fighter ranked in the top ten.......
And who are you to say he will never be champ? Predicting the future now i see, 10er gonna 10. He's still fighting because hes only lost 3 fights out of a 24 fight career, he's not "fed" certain fighters like you say. Shows how much respect you have for guys like; Leben, Rivera, Akiyama etc calling them duds when there fighting in the top MMA promotion in the world.

He lost the Hammill Fight. So the number should be 4. He should have been DQ'd in the Rivera fight as well, so make that 5.
Bisping will only be champ if the the division he's in is comparable to the HW division when Couture won the title.
I like Bisping but LOL at this, unless he brings a bat into the cage

Bisping hasnt beat a top 10MW yet....What will happen is Bisping fights: Rumble or Vitor
You HONESTLY think he has a chance against:
1) Anderson
2) Sonnen
3) Okami
4) Vitor
5) Munoz
6) Rumble

I love it when you guys pull out the "10er gonna 10". I've been watching MMA since the early 90's. And FYI, i've also wrestled (DI all-american) with and against some pretty big names in the sport. And have trainded in other arts. That being said, i'm not your casual fan and i highly doubt you're the one to give me an ass whipping. And if you don't like my opinon on Bisping, so be it. It's my opinion. I could rattle off 5 names right now that could beat him. But in the scheme of things, that wouldn't be good for Dana's pocket book. Like i said before, he's not a top ten fighter and is an above average gatekeeper....

... He won the Hamill fight and nearly beat Rashad back in 2007. Ill admit the Rivera fight could have gone 50/50 with the DQ but thats not for us to decied, either way we all know who the better fighter was/is at the end of the day. Not replying to the Randy rubbish comment.
No, No and you are starting to be reasonable.The couture comment isn't rubbish; the "stars aligned" for him more than any other MMA fighter in history. Right place at the right time on more than one occasion.
If you don't think Bisping is getting special treatment by the UFC you're in denial. It's very rare Bisping isn't the favorite in his fights and thats not a Bisping compliment.
Look at Akiyama. He comes of 2 possibly 3 bad defeats if you count the Belcher fight as a loss and then gets put in with Vitor Belfort. Seriously.
What is with the Hendo smash being erased from history? It shows bad sportsman ship and doesn't belong in MMA? Well then why show Hendo doing it to Wand in Pride over and over?
Also what is with his place of birth? On TUF it said Cyprus but then all of a sudden he becomes promising and magically he was born in England. Probably to lure in UK fans.
Hopefully Miller outworks him in this fight and gets a submission.

No need for the bow, but thanks. For one, until he beats someone that is ranked in the top ten, IMO he isn't a top ten fighter. Anyone he has fought with a name, he has lost. And in reality, his UFC record should be 9-5, not 11-3. The Hamill fight was handed to him and he should have been DQ'd against Rivera. If you think he's a top ten fighter thats great, but hasn't beat a ranked guy yet. And as long as Silva and Sonnen are around, he will never be the champ. Plus there are other that IMO he can't beat as well....
Unless Anderson, Sonnen, Vitor, Hendo, Wandy and Okami get lost in the Bermuda triangle Bisping will stay a contender at best.
Hate to say it but Bisping will beat Mayhem handily.
