He wants people to want to tune in and watch him fight. He's doing what he has to do to draw interest to his division. McCall is the only person at 125 that i feel beat Mighty Mouse ( first bout )... This fight is a title eliminator. There is noone else for Mighty Mouse to fight right now that really has a name besides McCall himself and Lineker. The winner is the clear #1 contender. I don't blame McCall at all for trying to take names, generate some interest and whoop some ass. GET THAT BELT CREEPY A LOT OF US ARE ABSOLUTELY IN YOUR CORNER AND PULLING FOR YA BUD
Promote this shit, Ian! You gotta do what you gotta do my brother. Fuck, everyone seems to love Conor for it. Chael certainly captured people's attention. The UFC (Dana) obviously wants fighters selling themselves and the promotion. So do yo thang son!
Ian is right. No one in that division is creating a buzz. Might mouse is a beast but he doesn't "move the needle" I'm not sure why anyone is hating on creepy. Dude just wants to put some more bucks in his pocket.
I'm just tired of these attempts to make us feel it's a blood feud when really it's a coordinated effort to get us to watch.

Then when you talk like that, it will at least be believable.
But it's just a constant barrage of "oh no these two REALLY can't wait to get it on!" followed by a decision followed by two guys hugging and holding arms up.
At least fight like a Black Friday shopper mad over the last PS4 and not like an old man mildly perturbed over a restaurant not offering his soup choice.
This talk means nothing if the two don't actually fight like they harbor any animosity towards the other.
If they end up scrapping like that I'll gladly apologize for doubting the sincerity.

McCorkle vs Struve got people hyped here and those two ate cake in Struve's hotel ro after the fight.
Koscheck vs GSP 2 got people here hyped over "motor boating". After that fight, Josh admitted it was all fake and to sell a fight.
GSP's "dark place"? That phoniness was to hype you for GSP vs Diaz.
At least Conor doesn't fake hatred. He simply says he is the best and that he'll stop you in 1 round.
Now, if Conor followed that by jabbing for 3 rounds, I'd be as annoyed but he talks and then fights like he talks.
I just want honesty. Don't fake disdain for a guy and then hug him afterwards.

I want to see you do that so fight like it.
So you must not like pretty much any MMA fighter then? Most guys talk a whole bunch of shit before the fight and then shake hands and hug afterwards, It's part of a little thing we call martial arts.
You promote the fight, you fight, then show respect and discipline by doing the honorable thing. I'm assuming you don't watch many fights, considering most guys don't actually hate their opponent.
Not only that, I can't believe you actually think Conor hates the people he fights. He has said on multiple occasions that he respects everyone, but he clowns on them to promote the fight and it's all just business at the end of the day.
You guys say that fighters don't generate enough hype for fights and then complain when they start up a war of words.
