Shouldn't Fitch get a win before calling out anyone?
BJ is coming off of a decision loss to Nick Diaz, who went on to fight for the interim title.
Fitch was knocked out in less than 30 seconds by a guy who went on to beat Josh Koscheck, barely...by decision, earning a shot at Martin Kampmann!?
How hard did Johny Hendricks punch this guy?
Silverball - Shouldn't Fitch get a win before calling out anyone? So if you are coming off a loss you should have no say in who you fight, unless you are BJ, in which case you should get special treatment because he can walk on water?

random_perv -BrunoMcGyver - BJ beat Fitch in the first round of their fight and that's it.Any idiot that uses fightmetric to judge a fight is a welllllllllllll idiot.

Stockton 209 -Wehmer - In the second round, Fitch and BJ both landed a takedown, Fitch got the only sweep in the round and he outlanded Penn 59-18 in total and 14-5 in significant strikes. Why are you defending Jon Fitch he's the worse thing to happen to the MMA since the fall of PRIDE <img src="/images/phone/apple.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>
In round 3, Fitch was in top position for 4:35 and outlanded BJ 149-2
But yeah, he totes lost.
Bj penn may be alot of things. A coward is definitely not one of them.

I don't like Fitch. I don't like his style and his attitude is unappealing.
I can respect BJ's record: as many have said before he's fought men much bigger than he and at higher weight classes.
It would be nice to see and hear less of Fitch
aluminum_rooster - fitch needs to learn how to get people to wanna watch him fight instead of calling out natural lightweights who gave him all he could handle.
Ya hear Jon?
UGCTT_Rychek - <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); line-height: 18px; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, Tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">"Here at AKA, we've got fighters who come out to fight"</span> Did Fitch leave AKA?
If Fitch is so much braver than Penn then perhaps he should move up to MW for a fight with the #2 ranked fighter in that division like BJ did when he fought Fitch. Lol Sonnen would destroy Fitch.
Chiron -Or how about the one "To the death!"...and then quit. So much more honorable then winning. Oh wait, I think I got my AKA quotes mixed up. My bad.UGCTT_Rychek - <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); line-height: 18px; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, Tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">"Here at AKA, we've got fighters who come out to fight"</span> Did Fitch leave AKA?
Nah, they just forgot the rest of Fitch's quote - "Here at AKA we have fighters who come out to fight, and then we have me."

Interesting.
Silverball -So what you are saying is that your fandom has blinded you to the point that you are ignorant to your double standard and bias that have forced you to use convulted reasoning to to make your fighter to continue to look like a deity.ausgepicht -Silverball - Shouldn't Fitch get a win before calling out anyone? So if you are coming off a loss you should have no say in who you fight, unless you are BJ, in which case you should get special treatment because he can walk on water?

Really, and who did BJ call out exactly?
If you were knocked out in 30 seconds or less...not TKO'ed by a flurry of punches, but KO'ed by one punch in your previous fight, then yes, calling out opponents afterwards seems misguided.
That said, John Fitch should definitely have a say in who he fights or doesn't fight, but that's going to be based on a list of fighters presented to him by Joe Silva at this point, and not the other way around.

He doesn't shit roses and tulips and he can't walk on water. Sorry, bruh.
Can't wait for Erick to destroy him
A coward? What the fuck?! You want to personally attack him you could call him lazy, or full of excuses, but never a coward. A lightweight BJ stepped up and fought GSP twice, he destroyed a prime Matt Hughes, he fucking fought Machida. Let's see Fitch go up a weight class and fight Anderson.
Fighters BJ has turned down in the past months
Gilbert
Koscheck
Fitch
Siyar
And Ellenberger if they offer him that fight
He should just accept the rematch, both are coming off lopsided losses and the first fight was exciting.
