Bo Nickal is probably 3 tiers higher than Colby in terms of wrestling. He is training with Mas, I dont know how they are asking the questions but of course thats his response

Is he gonna go with Bellator or UFC? Bellator has a history of signing wrestlers right out of the gate and giving them those low level pro fights on their own prelims. UFC does not really do that. Think he starts with Bellator… I’m thinking no or it would be done already. He could try to go do a PFL season before the UFC or maybe LFA or Titan.

Anyone know what he is looking to do first as a pro?

To be fair, Colby wrestled at a junior college, and Nickal was a fucking D1 national champ, right?

Colby has dominated everyone in the division and was highly competitive with Usman. He has done most of this work with his wrestling in probably one of the deepest and wrestling-heavy divisions in the history of MMA.

Yeah his wrestling isn’t high level.

Colby won a juco national championship and went undefeated his freshmen year and ended up a d-1 all american his senior year. He transferred to Iowa as a sophomore but got kicked off the team for getting into a high speed chase with the cops drunk lol. Like a .255 bac lol.

He was a very good wrestler, but not world class.

His test scores were too low to get into Arizona state as a freshmen so he’s not the brightest guy in the world.
