Can DC be knocked out?

Seemed to be Alex's biggest problem. Even his knee followed up with punches only stunned DC and he recovered by the time he stood up and started stocking Gus again. I mean Gus couldn't hit DC with anything to keep him from marching forward. Phone Post 3.0

Good ass question. Phone Post 3.0

Yes Phone Post 3.0

If it can happen to Hunt it can happen to anyone Phone Post 3.0

His head is f'n huge. Gonna take something thunderous.

Then again, he ate Rumble's headkicks so I don't know. Phone Post 3.0

DC got a chin for sure but Gus wasn't strong enough tonight. His shots all looked weak minus the knee Phone Post 3.0

his head was still not clear at the start of the 4th.... oh he was rocked good... but gus didn't do enough and let him back into the fight again

No.

Anyone can be KO'd especially as their career goes on and they take more punishment.

Gus rocked him pretty good with that knee. DC stayed composed and went for a single so Herb wouldn't stop it. He was hurt pretty bad though. Gus should've given him space and let him stand back up instead of letting DC attempt a takedown while he was on autopilot. Phone Post 3.0

If Gus wants to be that active he's going to have to start training with Nick Diaz because if you're going to try and force your opponent to chase you all over the ring, its kind of self-defeating if it exhausts you in the process. Phone Post 3.0

People said the same thing when Anderson was rolling off punches from KO artists like Vitor and Hendo.  It can happen to anyone if they get caught. That shot rocked DC but if he hand't gotten his arm up and his head behind his shoulder even as little as he did he'd probably still be slieeping.

I know. Wasn't being completely serious with that, but dude took a clean shot from Rumble and came back to win.

he got knocked out in training by Mike Kyle

Chin's don't last forever! Phone Post 3.0

If he's standing up into that punch instead of turning away like he did, he might still be out. Phone Post 3.0

That's why he got flash KO'd and nearly stopped in the first round the second time he fought Weidman?

Hard to say, that right from Rumble was the loudest crack I think I've ever heard and it didn't faze him much... Phone Post 3.0

Silva got KO'd coz Weidman was better.

That was Silva's style while you call it cocky.

Amazing when it works and an excuse when it doesn't.

There's a cool video where Silva is training at WildCard and he's in the corner and just eats a monster of an uppercut. It's so bad that Freddie Roach has a look of complete shock that Anderson is still standing.

That video is about 4 or 5 years old. My point being is that the punch Weidman threw had nothing on the uppercut that Silva ate 5 years earlier. The only thing that changed was time. There's no shame in a fighter losing their chin in their late 30's, it happens to all of them. Some just place a priority on protecting it at all cost, Andy didn't do that. Phone Post 3.0
