Chael: Tito took a dive

I can’t watch that. Is he saying Tito didn’t try, could’ve done more, or faked being knocked unconscious? Thanks

The latter. But he also argues that that happens more often than many people realize. Sometimes the fighter doesn’t know or decide to take a dive until the fight is underway. Allowing yourself to get RNC’d being a perfect example.

the way he keeps going back to the RN choke, is he hinting he took a dive against Tito?

That’s not taking a dive though, it’s called quitting. Taking a dive involves having some kind of plan before the fight begins, with more money being involved.

Tito didn’t dive. He got KO’d. Just because Chael said it, doesn’t mean it’s right.

He discussed this exact topic in the clip in the OP.

A fixed fight is different than one fighter taking a dive.

Is there a difference between taking a dive and giving up, then?

Agreed

Not a fan

He was a good fighter when he was full of juice but he was one of the most enhanced guys MMA has seen…Him with any real testing was not good, he just folds

He is riding that attention train until the wheels fall of…I do know some guys still enjoy him so that train will go on for awhile still

Shlemenko was smaller than Anderson so Chael is wrong there, too.

Shlemenko was robbed against Musashi.
