liquidsoul -I agree, 100%! Thomas made Commanche Boy look bad. Thomas fought George by George's rules, boxing. They agreed to take away Thomas' legs and submission and made it a boxing match. Thomas did not win the fight but it was not a good night for George, regardless of the win.

You fight fights to build your record and marketability, not to have a guy with 1 or 2 pro boxing matches fight a guy with 26 boxing matches and make the 26 fight guy look amateurish.
I like both men, but facts are facts, that was not a good decision by Georges team, in my opinion.
T-Kick and Macias is an interesting match-up. Age and experience v Youth and experience. Plus, Macias is a MT fighter, OLD SKOOL! We will see what kind of tricks he can pull out of his bag?

I never said Comanche Boy would destroy Longacre. I merely said he would win based on experience in boxing and he did. There was never a point in the fight where he was in danger of losing and he is not even that a good a boxer to begin with.

Everyone knows you are DAC. The Calonoc Longacre fight was very close. It was a decision not a one sided ass whoopin. Calonoc had longacres number in the clinch and stood with him just fine. Longacres vast kickboxing experience served him well in the end and he was able to pull the decision. It was in no way dubbed a xfl vs fcf fight you are just making this shit up as you go along. The truth of the matter is FCF had just as many top rate fighters as XFLXFNRORectect... has. You are a better business man than Kenny and that is the ONLY reason XFLXFNROR is ahead of the game. Everyone knows what a pain in the ass you are to deal with. If there were any legit comp in the state of OK, You would not have many people fighting for you. The fact that you have the casinos on lock give you a huge leg up, you know that, you use that, and you treat everyone like you are trying to sell them a used car. You create local stars by hand picking fighters so that you can partially control the outcome to sell tickets. Is longacre ever going to fight a top rate MMA fighter on one of your shows? Im talking about someone like, Budnick? Murdock? Pulsifer? Carson? JC? the answer is NO. And what about Blake? Are you going to get a REAL pro Kickboxer to fight him? And I mean a REAL kickboxer. The answer is NO. The sad fact is both guys are really good fighters and win or lose they will fucking die in there to win, but you wont give them the chance to really see what they are made of. Because you need to be in control. people deal with you because they HAVE to if they want to fight in a good arena in OK, if they had a CHOICE, they would choose differently. 5) Creating "local stars" is all about promoting and DAC is a promoter, it also falls under the "business" category. If you do not have "ticket sellers", you don't have a show and you will no longer have business at the casinos. Ask Kenny Nair.
6) Longacre and Blake questions can be answered by DAC. Those questions do not deserve my input. I do not train, manage, or promote either fighter.
7) DAC should be in control, it is his ship, he is the captain, and he can sail that vessel however in the hell that he wants. What he is doing seems to be working for him, so why change it? If it ain't broke, why fix it?

I actually asked Travis about that fight, and he told me he fought his gameplan. They felt there were some holes in Thomas's game they could exploit, it just didn't work out.
Now whether I believed him or not is another story... but that is what he told me.
