Do you mean milk itself is bad for human
consumption, or just that the growth hormones,
antibiotics and other possible "contaminants" that
are in many brands can make it bad?

I don't think you'll ever win a body building contest if you drink a lot of milk; even skim has a good bit of sugar.
However, as a cheap source of protein and calories for a bulk cycle, it's hard to beat. I went from 170 to 200-205 in three months from lifting hard and drinking a gallon a day.
I quit drinking milk about 2 years ago. Since then my allergies have almost become non existent. During the spring I use to wake up with my eyes watering and I would sneeze constantly.
