Craig Jones and Mo Jassim

No, Craig is making a point. Otherwise no reason to go head to head with ADCC.

I have nothing to back this up, but I think this is actually more of a jab at FloGrappling than ADCC etc. probably still has something to do with payout money, but if you follow him over the last few years, he clearly has an issue with FloGrappling.

Too much attention seeking from Craig. Seems pretty self serving and playing it off as “for the grapplers”

Does he have a dumbass rich friend that is going to fund this and lose a shit ton of money every year or is this a one off?

A bunch of evil Muslims dictators never should have had this much influence in grappling/jiujitsu in the first place.

Rich people don’t become rich by losing a ton of money over and over.

And relying on Arabs and hoping they don’t lose interest in their latest hobby is an even dumber bet.

What happens to the guys that bolt on ADCC this year and next year there is no CJI? They gotta crawl back to ADCC?

Sports with more participants than spectators (grappling and BJJ) will not generate t enough revenue to be “professional”. Grappling is filled with the male version of the WNBA, “Why don’t we make as much money as other pro sports?”

They gotta try to win trials. Good fucking luck, every bracket has 256 people in it.

It’s not necessarily the right thing to do at all.

It does generate the most controversy and biggest media attention though.

He mentioned on Rogan that with the controversy generated (along with the big money prize) it would hopefully bleed out into mainstream sports media.

Had it been just another EBI, F2W, whatever, no one except the hardest of hardcore of a niche sport would have heard of it.

he has a rich friend who probably is quite intelligent and Craig has stated that he is in this for the long haul, its def not a one off. There is no expectation of profit and will be run as a not for profit so my guess is this is a tax write down for a very rich individual who could use it

Craig’s argument is that for a strike or athlete revolt to be effective, it has to be during work hours.

Rumours that show money is now being paid to ADCC athletes have started and Mica Galvao has committed to ADCC and no doubt paid handsomely to do so.

Mo and the team are fuming with Adam Bradley though

Lol during the 16 hours a year they work probably doesn’t help them, since it reminds people they only work 16 hours a year.

its not rumours, wasnt there a clip with Mo saying everyone was going to get $2500 (lol) ?

Oh I haven’t seen that but it’s believable. He said on the Discord that he was going to pay for Bradley to do WNO before he defected to CJI

Craig just posted on insta 15 min ago absolutely roasting Gordon
