'Creonte' finds home at RGDA

No, he is a blue belt running an RGDA school.

Thanks folks, I'll be here all week.

Peloton:

Due respect, because I don't know you and don't hvae the full story, but rather than what you're doing, would it not be more productive to ask yourself (and maybe him) WHY it is he prefers to afiliate with someone else? Maybe it's something Royler's association is doing right that you can learn from.

For some reason, someone who you say you had an excellent relationship with decided to stop doing business with you in favour of a competitor. Sure, calling him an ass-clown in public, posting private emails, and threatening physical violence might make you feel better, but maybe this attitude is part of why he left?

Again, maybe you should ask him.

This is none of my business, but since you did post this on a public forum...

Well said, andre.

Joe Canada,
This isn't about who 'He' prefers to do business with, or you insinuating he might have had issues with my character.
If he did, it sure didn't sound that way by the emails I received from him.
As for contacting him directly, I have, no response from him yet.
I also have several affiliate students of his wondering If they can continue to come to Peloton.
This is about an 'Opportunist' who I happened to place my trust in as a friend first a student second, and third as a business partner.
As for exposing a man's character that will be teaching children and adults BJJ in the future under a well respected affiliation-RGDA.
This being an open forum, I welcome 'All' comments and opinions.
And Shaun Hahn is welcome to state his views also.

Maybe you should have talked to him personally.Maybe he would have considered a different decision. Now you've ruined it i would'nt want to be associated with someone who threatens to attack me at tourneys.

Look we don't care stop posting your personal shit on here.

You're under UNIBJJ for the past year; who were you with before, and why the change? How did you go about it (ending what business relationship you had previously)?

Judo Scott - Look we don't care stop posting your personal shit on here.

Some rooster shit right here.

You switched associations yourself in your bjj career so why be so hard on this dude. Who cares what reason he gave you for leaving, a paying customer doesn't have to be accountable to you. Threatening a blue belt with an "ass kicking" over this issue is pretty dumb.

Kbhat, we joined UNIJJ before the move to San Diego, when Toledo was home base, a 6hr. drive was easy.
Flying to Cali was really difficult for all involved.
I spoke directly to Saulo when choosing to leave unlike the above mentioned.

Pitbullxyz, as for me threating this guy, your mistaken. I basically said 'keep away'. So as for the firestarting-he's safe, no worries. Trust me.

I thought you were under Alliance previous to Saulo. My mistake.

tapsnapornap,
Troll.......
You and your member since- 2/8/08 right!.

I see you math skills are as good as your jiu-jitsu!

humm, Royler GRACIE or who? Yeah I pick Royler too. sorry.

jjd - humm, Royler GRACIE or who? Yeah I pick Royler too. sorry.

He's associated with Royler. Royler isn't teaching at his academy full time. What's more beneficial; Having a blackbelt live 30 mins away, teaching at his school a few times a month or having Royler Gracie give 1 or 2 seminars a year? Bad decision on the part of Shogun.

Whats more beneficial for him is for him to decide. this threads dumb

Apologies if I gave you the impression that I was insinuation anything about your character -- I was not. As I said in my email, I don't know you.

What I meant to make clear was that when someone makes a decision, there are reasons for it (valid or not). I suggested that rather than do what you have done, you would be better served by looking closer to home for the reasons you lost an affiliate, rather than chalking it up to him being a 'creonte'.

Given how you've handled this situation so far, I would hazard a guess that there is enough blame to go around. If you don't see that, I wish you well and hope you are fortunate enough to not have this sitation happen again.

Cheers!

ARRRRGH!! Editing for mudnamers SUX MONKEY B4LLS!

So what are you doing about his students who want to come to your school and train with you?

There has to be some reason he would switch away from training with you and I would think it is something more than having Royler do a seminar once a year. Maybe some of his students who want to come and train with you can give it to you straight and fill you in on what he told them.

It sounds like this guy is a blue belt who is running his own school, is that correct? How is he qualified to teach BJJ?

I understand people who have no other options opening a school/club so the people who want to train can have a place to learn from each other and grow but it sounds like your school is fairly close. To me that says that his priorities in BJJ are off. Be a student first and teach when you're qualified. I can't understand why everyone needs to be the teacher and nobody can be a student anymore.

You know why you don't know?

Because the other guy didn't air Pelotons dirty laundry publicly.
