There’s next to nothing on television on Wednesdays so this gets a view from me. Still found it funny that they lost 700k viewers once pro wrestling ended. Even that retarded audience is like “nah, im good on two dudes slapping each other”

The only thing I don’t like, is the person being slapped has no defense.
It’s basically can the human brain sustain itself from losing conscience from a very powerful strike.
Slap or not, you are hitting someone in the chin/face with a strike that isn’t even being defended.
At least with MMA defense and protection are still a part of the Challange. This is glorifying a powerful strike.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s entertaining to watch but I don’t think it’s right.

I’m guessing these slap contests started as a test of toughness to see who could take the most pain as the slaps started to add up. Now it’s evolved to basically if you don’t KO the other guy with the first slap you’re gonna get KO’d yourself. It’s all about who gets to go first.
I haven’t watched the show though. Maybe they get off more slaps than I think?

I’ve spoken out against extra shots after an opponent is knocked out. Fighters like Derrick Lewis who do it should be fined and maybe even disqualified.
