DFW: If Khamzat wins, he fights Colby next

^ I never realized there was a connection between ABC and ESPN before. I also had no idea before yesterday that ABC had been showing some events, but ya, I googled that shit yesterday. I’m totally out of the loop because I haven’t had regular tv in about 15 years, and I have to run everything through my computer (or roku).

My first thoughts were, putting Colby on an event with a mainstream network like ABC is something the UFC would never have risked back in the day when they were licking the asses of the FOX executives to get on mainstream tv, but the times have changed, and the UFC has a shit ton of clout now.

Also, I think I saw that the events were on ABC 2, or something like that. So I have to assume it’s one of the lesser viewed off chutes, but I could be wrong.

Shit, I had known of the espn abc connection for years now but had heard nothing about abc airing events. Ufc on abc has a good ring to it.

No, I don’t believe that. Colby doesn’t go for broke in his fights like Burns does. Burns lets it all hang out. That is why he was as close as he was with KC.

I’m not so sure about that. He was pretty damn impressive, and super active in the Lawlor fight, and the first Usman fight.

I doubt Colby ever recovers from the restaurant incident. He has invested to much into his gimmick and it got him jumped. He is now a victim and that will wreck him mentally. How could his glorious self be ahelpless victim. The damage is done like and like that tooth his ego is broken.

Colby may be the real #2 guy not Burns like they claimed but styles make fights and Colby and Edwards are the best top ranked guys for Khamzat to steamroll.
