I realize not all states are the same. However, in most states when a wreck occurs and drugs are found at the scene or another party is injured all parties are subject to drug testing. Did this occur when jones surrendered himself to police? Is he possibly facing a 2nd DUI?

Couldn't imagine that a drug test made a couple days after an accident could hold up in court. He would have to be caught at the time of the accident.
Not sure if they did, but they can get a warrant for a blood test.
yeah most likely avoid testing positive for coke. if he did it last week it's gone by now but who knows elite level athlete most have some kind of shit to clear the system fast
Definitely. He probably got a blood sample taken for drug and alcohol testing, less likely they did a urine test.

Considering they had enough cause to issue a warrant for his arrest, I suspect they could get one for his blood. I doubt it would do much for them, save a misdemeanor possession of marijuana, but perhaps they'll stack it with other charges to get him to plead to a more serious misdemeanor or low grade felony.

sparkyman -IIRC, his first DWI was in NY, those don't carry over across state lines to be stackable. I'm not a lawyer, and don't take that as fact, but just from a discussion with a couple guys at work.
