Fuck off.
So octagon control and damage are outweighed by takedowns/ta ?

Clean strikes and power matters.

It was absurd. I called it for Diego. Gomi was whiffing and Diego was blasting him with that body kick all night.
Go to sleep Orcus
Close by the numbers, but IMO Gomi's significant strikes were more significant than Sanchez's, and there were more of them in each round.
I missed the fight, but for those of you who think the right guy won, if it's any consolation orcus also thinks fight metric is right when they had Werdum beating Overeem in their SF fight.
The commentary was insanely bias towards Diego.
Homicide women every round.

if standup is even then yes.
But according to fight metric diego just won the first.

Gomi landed with damage and controlled the cage for most of the fight. He also dictated what happened. Diego had 40% success rate for his takedowns.. Judges should take that into consideration.
Stuffing a TD should mean more than it does now. Sure he got 2 but failed at 3. Gomi won the figh IMO. He controlled more, landed with damage and stuffed TD's.

And, even with the first round going to Sanchez due to takedowns, I still had Gomi taking the last 2 rounds. And, I even picked Sanchez to win, so no dog in this hunt.

That's pretty much how I felt about it. Although Gomi did more damage through 3 rounds, shoulda been 29-28 Gomi because judges think TD's mean more.
I'm pissed off the first 20 posts on the wall weren't "Gomi got robbed posts!"
Chael and Bisping both had it for Gomi
I was pulling for Diego and I watched the fight live. I was DVRing it at the same time so I turned it off to go do something else for a little bit thinking that Gomi clearly won rounds 2 and 3 and when I watched the recording later and saw that Diego won the decision I was stunned.
That decision is robbery of the highest order.
