I'm glad I googled it instead of going directly to it. Probably would have got fired from work.

Thanks faggot.

You do realize "cutting" is normally defined by water loss.

So if you cut this far out you'll have a terrible time competing. if you mean you have to drop weight to make Pan Ams i'm assuming you are fairly far from your target.

In this case you probably have to starve and burn cals, but you don't have much time as you need to be recovered before you start your "cut".

Just saw that you said ten pounds. Shed a couple buy dieting and training (maybe 2-3). Then cut the rest.

yup

SUBdudeHI,

Thanks for the tips. I'm gonna do that. Right now I'm just concentrating on restricting high sodium and calorie foods and doing nothing but drill and cardio. Thanks again!

This thread really demostrates how ignorant the majority of the posters on this board really are...

Eliminate carbs as much as possible.
Lean protein and green veggies.
Only drink Water.
Eliminate excess sodium as much as possible.
The week of, increase water intake to 2 gallons a day. Then cut water and food intake the morning before the event.
Cardio in morning before eating (some say it's a myth, but it works)
High Intensity Interval Training

Google John Berardi. Read anything by him. Follow his 7 Habits for Effective Nutrition (more or less what I've listed above)

Modify as needed depending on the weight needing to be cut.

this is very good advice.you dont have much weight to lose.the other thing is when are the weigh ins?day of tourney like wrestling or night before?if it is day of,you may be tempted to just start guzzlin water.what alot of us used to do in college is cut the weight, then after weigh in ASAP,slap an iv bag in. it also helped one of the guys on the team was a phlebotmist(sp)we would also drink a pedialyte.that way we were never had the bloated stomach feeling.alotta guys who weren't used to the cut would just guzzle water and then lose it on the mat or sometimes before.
