TJ might have started following his footwork, but he switches between southpaw and orthodox better, cuts better angles, hits harder and I think he puts combos together better. I think Cruz is a better kickboxer, uses his footwork for evading much better, and is a better wrestler. He also transitions much better between striking and takedowns. That knee tap is fucking unstoppable.
Should be a crazy fight.

I think it will be a interesting match up but the only way Cruz wins is by doing his same old point fighting style. "Except for his last fight". You know, if Cruz fights and beats TJ, you could say, "Except for that last fight, TJ has dominated his fights".
Keep in mind Dominick Cruz is not even 30 years old, is already a proven champ, and hasn't lost while being champ. To be the man, you have to beat the man, and Cruz is still the man.
