To each their own. I love Rogan and DC commentary because they bring energy and enthusiasm to the broadcast. It is absolutely dreadful listening to Cruz and Felder just drone on constantly with boring vanilla analysis.
They could make Hagler/Hearns look like a boring fight.

I love Rogans podcast and like DC away from his commentary. Their commentary always seems like they choose who they want to win going in and skew the commentary completely in that fighters favor.

Cruz is right about Cormier not being prepared. Hell, he gets all proud of himself if he can pronounce a foreign fighter’s name properly, usually after practicing during the broadcast. He acts amazed at Anik knowing such esoteric trivia as where a fighter is from and what his record is, IE stuff you learn during the most basic research.
Cruz is a bitter douche as a fighter, but at least he’s a professional commentator who takes the job seriously.

They try to influence the outcome too much. Drives me crazy. Always yelling at the ref to stop the fight as soon as someone gets rocked. Then two seconds later the guy recovers and goes on to dominate the rest of the round.

DC seems like a nice guy, but is an absolute chucklehead for commentary.
Its 9 parts AKA/Dagistani nut riding, and 1 part encouraging guys to lay and pray and stall to victory.

Can’t stand the sound of that smug condescending arrogant know it all. I wanted to say worse but won’t. I think the only other fights I can’t stand as much as Cruz are Rockhold and Jones. The one thing Rockhold does right is he gets KTFO sometimes.
