But Roach also teaches guys to move while doing so; JDS stood with his hands down and tried to catch Cain moving in. Not what Roach is looking for.
Larry Holmes (and young Muhammed Ali) would do the hands down thing, but would jab hard while moving backwards and laterally, almost never letting themselves be caught against the ropes - if JDS is going to do the hands down thing, he'll have to improve his footwork.
And I don't think JDS was serious when he said he could beat the Klitchko's in boxing, he knows better than that. If he really thought he could he'd be in boxing for the much bigger pay (didn't Dana say the last Klitchko payday was 17 million?)
