East was probably the worst possible guy for Toby to try to make a comeback against. I don't know what they were thinking.
Tom's fight was a questionable stoppage, imo. He was winning the fight, then lost position when he went for an ankle lock. Was mounted but was still transitioning to back and back to mount, not taking much damage. He seemed fine and I was confident he would get out of the round.
Maxwell was easily the best fighter on the card.
Chris Barnes lost a KB fight against Kenny's son, who has been training for three months and didn't know he was fighting until the morning of the fight. I talked to him (Chris) for a while and we had some laughs about what a pussy Nate is.

I DIDN'T SEE THE FIGHTS BUT IT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE THE TULSA CREW FAIRED TOO WELL. MAYBE TOM SHOULD HANG 'EM UP....AND TOBY WAS OUT FOR TOO LONG. LIZ IS A GREAT FIGHTER BUT I THINK IF SHE IS GONNA TAKE ON PEOPLE LIKE THIS AND TATE AND BAZZLER THEN SHE NEEDS TO SEEK OUT HIGHER LEVEL FEMALE FIGHTERS TO TRAIN WITH....TULSA AND ACA JUST DOESN'T HAVE MANY ON THAT LEVEL.
I have a question. NAN has posted that FCF has lost well over $100k over it's past few events. But he also has posted many times that the reason Kenny is a horrible promoter becasue he takes casino shows where he doesn't have to do anything but show up with a cage and fighters and collect his check. I can see how the New Hampshire show lost money but how did he lose money on the other shows?
If he gets a flat check from the casino no matter what the gate is, what teh problem is? Sure it might hurt future business but seems like they would be fine for now.

ZILLA, THE BEST I CAN COME UP WITH IS THE AMOUNT THAT THE CASINO GIVES A PROMOTER WILL COVER THE STUFF LIKE PURSES, VENDING, ETC. BUT THERE ARE OTHER THINGS LIKE THE BOND, CAGE RENTAL (KENNY USES HIS OWN), ETC THAT MIGHT BE EXTRA AND THE CASINO $ MIGHT NOT BE ENOUGH. IT IS A QUESTION FOR NAN...HE EXPLAINED TO ME RECENTLY ALL THE COSTS THAT GO INTO A SHOW AND THERE ARE ALOT MORE THAN YOU MIGHT THINK.
Typically amount the promoter receives from the casino does not change if 3,000 people buy tickets or 3 people buy tickets. Granted they could have negotiated something different but that is usually how the casino shows are done. Sure there are a lot of costs that go into running a show but those would be figured into the fee the promoter charges the casino plus a little extra for profit.

I like how everyone is quoting how much Nicholson knows on the subject. He has been so extremely successful as a promoter/manager. I mean first rule of business is get it in writing and NAN allowed a little weasel neck like Skenny to steal his company right out from under him. So I am not sure he knows exactly as much about business as you fellas seem to think.
The FCF fights were good I don't know why people are bitching because the hometown peeps lost. To me that just shows you match your fights well and either guy can win.
Liz lost to a better caliber fighter, No shame at all in stepping up to test yourself against tough opposition. She got knocked down but I am sure she will get back up.
I made NO comment on the Tom fight. It is what it is.
They lose money at every non casino show....Nan doesn't mean at the casino events.
