Definetly a lot of bad blood here for this fight. Michele used to be signed by Suckerpunch, but was fired a while back. Michele actually came out to Team Curran a couple times for her fights in the XFO. They got along on a professional level, but Felice couldn't stomach Michele's attitude. After Michele lost to Amanda LaVoy (who Felice trounced at a prior XFO), everything went south for Gutierrez. She went on to fight for Invicta, and lost against a low level fighter who she was favored to beat.

Now Gutierrez is dropping down to 115 to face Herrig on the televised portion of the Bellator 84 card being held at the Horseshoe casino in Hammond, IN.

Felice trains very consistently at Team Curran in Crystal Lake, IL. She has evolved in a lot of ways, and considers this the biggest fight of her career. I expect Felice Herrig to finish Gutierrez in the first round by submission.

Bellator 84 heads to Indiana with Herrig-Gutierrez, two tourney finals

Bellator 84, the final event of the organization's seventh season, is slated for Dec. 14 at The Venue at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind., which also recently hosted Bellator 75.

Officials today announced a rematch between Felice Herrig (7-4 MMA, 1-0 BFC) and promotional newcomer Michelle Gutierrez (3-3 MMA, 0-0 BFC) is set for the card.

Bellator 84 also will feature the Season 7 featherweight and heavyweight tournament finals.

The night's main card airs on MTV2 following prelims on Spike.com.

Herrig first fought then-newcomer Gutierrez in late 2009 and submitted her with a second-round armbar. After the loss, Gutierrez won three straight fights but suffered back-to-back losses to Amanda LaVoy and Sarah Maloy in her two most recent bouts.

Herrig, meanwhile, has been on a roll with four wins in her past five fights. Most recently, she's competed for the Florida-based XFC organization, where she's scored wins over the likes of Patricia Vidonic and Simona Soukupova in her recent outings.

"We used to have the same management and were put in many situations to work together," Herrig stated of Gutierrez. "I honestly gave it my best effort to be friends with her, but her unethical practices as a fighter and in business directly impacted me. Fighting Michele again really does nothing for my career other than it gives me a chance to shut her mouth once and for all. It's time for her to put her money where her mouth is."

Meanwhile, the finalists for the featherweight and heavyweight tournaments will be determined in the coming weeks.

its about them fabricating a rift in their relationship to hype a fight. This is totally fake, they have been in a ton of vids and pics together smiling and having a great time.

Also, felice needs to get naked.

Felice is always moving forward, especially against an opponent who has no ground game..at all (Michele Gutierrez).

I fully expect Felice to finish Michele probably by TKO
