Which means he can’t fight, and probably won’t leave. There will be an interim. Maybe Stipe v Jones.
All the while the pay issues will be talked about.

Pretty sure all he has to do is sit out 1 year and his contract expires, so this was likely why he took this fight while hurt knowing he would have surgery afterwards and they couldn’t try and force him to fight for 10 months

I have no clue but would find it hard to believe the contract wouldn’t include a clause where the extra year only counts down when he is able to fight.

When and how did we first find out that he was injured?
We already knew this on fight day after the fight.
It’s important to note he came into the fight with those injuries. Mad props to him for taking the fight, none of Dana’s favorites would ever do that.
Name a UFC heavyweight that hasn’t battled with injuries.
