GGG needs to stop fighting chumps

When will someone step up and fight this guy? Phone Post 3.0

Some of the guys he's beaten like Geale and Murray and even Rubio are pretty legit. The only other top talent in his division is Miguel Cotto (who's really a welterweight), Peter Quillin, and Andy Lee. He'll probably fight Lee next, but I doubt Cotto or Quillin will ever get in the ring with him. The best fight IMO would be him vs Canelo, but I'd like to see Canelo actually fight at middleweight first. Phone Post 3.0

It ain't going to be Mayweather and Paq isn't going to give up that much size either. Hopefully within 2 years he will get enough exposure to be a big enough draw to have a monster fight with Canelo. Phone Post 3.0

Canelo is avoiding that with a passion, they have sparred before and he ate a body shot that knocked him down....

I mean shit GGG spars with Kovalev for goodness sake....

EVERYONE is ducking him like the plague and HBO is brilliantly building the next megastar since May and Pac are gone in a year or 2....

NOt the biggest ggg fan but the cream of the crop dont want to fight him.... he is too much risk and not enough reward.... they just mentioned how cotto is thinking like a business man and waiting for ggg to build his name if they are ever going to fight...

1) Both things you said are incorrect the sparred 4 years ago for 6 rounds both rocked each and had there moments no knockdowns occurred

2) Canelo said he wanted to fight GGG after his last fight Phone Post 3.0

I agree with u, id bet the house cotto fights canelo first... it makes the most sense on all fronts... im sure cotto will fight ggg before he retires tho.. might not be for another year or two..

GGG is soon to be 34.

They don't have 3 more years to build him.

What?

He's gonna finally get big fights at 38?

Manny and Floyd are in their late 30's now. Both only a few years older.

People act like GGG is 27.

He has a 3 year window in which to get the big fights and win them in order to become a household name.

Time is of the essence. Phone Post 3.0

Ward vs. GGG is the fight to see. Shame ward has sat for so long. Phone Post 3.0

GGG will last longer because he turned pro at a later age unlike May and Pac.... (GGG was already in his mid 20's when he turned pro).

Either Canelo or GGG would crush Cotto. Too big, too young, too strong and wrong style for Miguel. He would make a ton of money to get beat by Canelo but Golovkin isn't worth the risk financially.

Also, Canelo ain't ducking shit. Unless GGG goes down in weight for fights at LMW and Canelo still won't fight him (like Mayweather's camp said they won't) then it's a duck. Otherwise, it's not ducking if you don't want to go up in weight to fight someone. Phone Post 3.0

Canelo will go up to fight him. That Mexican isn't afraid of anyone. Phone Post 3.0

This is normal for boxing. Build hype and keep building and building it and wait for the max pay day so all involved make millions. Boxing is business Phone Post 3.0

Ganady's fight tonight wasn't too impressive. Willie kept pitter pattering on GGG's gloves and didn't really commit to anything he landed. It was like he wasn't trying to hurt Golovkin, and was maybe setting it up for a loss.

I would not be surprised if those sneaky Russians set that up.

Blame it on Bob arum Phone Post 3.0
