I was told Gil was also a brown in AJJ, my mistake.

So if you get a belt in American Jui Jitsu it's just the same as getting a Gracie Jui Jitsu belt?

The AJJ lineage runs thru Jake to Ceasar. I would say thats directly a Gracie BB.
