i stayed at the Venitian once for work. room was bigger than my apartment.
lol @ San Remo.. i stayed there for ufc 46. It was cheap and full of old people and kinda smelled. But it was mainly just a place to shower and sleep. Not bad if your on a budget.
Nothing wrong with San Remo- save the money and stay there.
It has a good location, and like someone already said, you'll only be sleeping and showering there anyways.
+ its walking Distance to the MGM. 3 nights @ San Remo(thurs,Fri,Sat) = 276.86.

I am buying my airline tickets next week. I will be spending a week in San Diego with my brother and attending some BJJ classes at Harris International with him. Then we are going to drive out to Vegas for UFC 49, stay at the Stratosphere Hotel&Casino and spend the weekend there, then it's back to my brothers house in San Diego to watch PRIDE FC on PPV. This will be by far the best vacation I have ever been on. This will be my first live MMA event, I can't wait! I flew out to San Diego last year to visit my bro and attend a BJJ summer camp at Harris International, that was awesome...but the fact that I am going to a UFC event blows last years trip out of the water.

Just got 4 tix at $35, first time I order tix early enough to get the lowest price. For the record, the arena at the MGM isn't very big, so no matter where you sit, you will have a great view. Get the $35's, if there are any left. Card looks great, predictions?
I want Randy to win, but I think Victor will pull it off. Plus, I would rather see Victor/Chuck for the belt instead of Randy/Chuck. Randy has proven his dominance time and time again.
For good rates, go to old town Vegas. I love playing blackjack at the F Queens. Eating a good meal at Hugo's Cellar when you are blasted is always fun...

Could care less about this fight. Don't know anything about Justin Eilers and after watching Mike Kyle's disrespectful and unimpressive performance last time I could care less about ever watching him fight again.

Wow, Chuck has huge balls. What respect for that guy, he could sit out on the sideline and wait for the Randy/Victor winner but he takes a very dangerous fight with Vernon White.
"Matt Lindland v.s. David Terrell"
David Terrell is another band wagon fighter it seems, lots of people here claiming is the second coming of Jesus. Never heard of him before a day ago. Bottom line, I don't bet against Team Quest, I'm certainly not going to start now. Matt wrecks people, I could care less what "fans" think of his style in the ring, he wins, that is all that matters.

Nick Diaz impressed the hell out of me last time. He seems like a very well rounded fighter, I'm really looking forward to seeing him fight again.
