GSP looked shook in front of The Count...

At the staredown you did see GSP size up bisping on gsp go "shit this dude is big" in his head of course

GSP thinks he can wrestle Bisping.  If he can, he wins.. If he cant, he most likely loses.  It's really this simple.  Honeslty - I remember how difficult it was for Chael to hold Bisping down....  Also, Chael has said that Bisping hits harder than people give him credit for....  I dont see this being a good fight for GSP.  I was really hoping for him vs Conor...  This was the "money fight"......

I don't understand this sentiment.

Georges takes down people that nobody gets down.

And if he doesn't then what? He moves just as well as Bisping and trains with Freddie Roach. His reach is longer than Bisping believe it or not and he will dominate a jab fest all night.

Yup.

because he took guys down at 170, he will do the same at 185 where GSP is undersized and has never fought at, against the champion of that division, and after a 3 year layoff? wishful thinking

Did you read my post you idiot?

Stupidnewbie - LOL @ people thinking Bisping will be harder to take down than Koscheck, Hughes, Trigg, Sherk, or BJ. GSP's takedowns are not speeed or strength-reliant. He is 100% timing, which does not go away with age. Not that GSP even needs to take it to the ground. He is a FAR superior striker. His jab technique alone could win him this fight. Will Bisping even know which direction to circle? This is more of a sure thing that people are doubting than when Uncle Randy took Timmy's belt.
Timing does go away because reflexes and the ability to pull the trigger decreases with age.

GSP is also less explosive than he used to be thanks to age and injuries. He'll be fighting a man 30 to 40 lbs heavier than him. A guy who has beaten the elite at middleweight. This is not looking good for Georges.

Hahaha, elite at middleweight! You got me for a minute there, shen. So sneaky, changing SN's like that. But seriously, 5+ takedowns for GSP if it goes 5 rounds.

BTW, I'm basing my opinion on the fact that I've trained with Brady and the Misfit crew, Jason Parillo's guys, and several other UFC fighters. They brought me in for help when Razor Rob fought Aoki. They were very nice and welcoming but they just did not prepare for a highly technical fight in the right way. Parillo can prep technically but his knowledge of wrestling and bjj are limited.

That's because Bisping had been drinking & was unpredictable.

Did Bisping not dismantle Luke Rockhold?

DisIsDeRiddumOfDeNite - I'm a big GSP fan but I have feeling that The G.O.A.T Bisping is going to absolutely destroy GSP.

It's an ambitious challenge but he's biting off more than he can chew. Bisping mauls guys who come into the cage at 215lbs pounds. GSP barely walks around at 184lbs.

The blatant disrespect of The Count needs to stop. How many people is he going to have to starch for him to get the respect he deserves?

I'd say if he can defend the title against Romero or Jacare you can talk about goats.

Dead President -

Everyone that bullied GSP outside the ring paid for it. All Bisping did was motivate GSP more.

what was the point of that post then you jackass? yes, he takes down people that nobody gets down, AT WELTERWEIGHT. he moves just as well as Bisping? based on what? his recent fights? oh that's right, he has no fights in 3 years. he has a greater reach...ok? so did a lot of guys he fought at MIDDLEWEIGHT.

Barely walks around at 184 LOL Doesn't GSP walk around at 200? Hendo isn't 215 usually and he knocked Bisping into next week when they fought in Hendo's prime....even in his win against Anderson Bisping got KO'ed ROFL

You're really bringing up Hendo and Anderson? Do you remember when GSP last KO'd someone? when he KO'd a Middleweight? that's right, he hasn't even competed at 185. and hasn't even managed to knock out a WW since how long?

Here's Chael talking about training with GSP

Going off the Chael video of them training together and Chael talking about GSP's insane strength, and the GSP training with Bisping thread, here's my take; I think the reason why Bisping's taken this 'you think I'm an easy win' stance is because GSP those 11 yrs ago got the better of Bisping, probably got out struck and out grappled and this has crept back up in Bispings mind.
Sure it's a long time ago, but I'm questioning a bit on who is the one that's shook.

GSP was never good at shit talking. Bisping is from Northern England where they are groomed into shit talking from birth. Can't compete with that. That being said I'm really curious about this fight.

Gsp will make it look easy, at second round mike will be floor cloth

Not sure, he's not gonna finish Bisping and Mike's very good at getting up after being taken down. Decision perhaps yes but I don't see GSP finishing the Count.

I thought GSP looked a lot bigger next to Bisping then I thought he would I started leaning towards Georges. Also he wasnt shook at all he kept calling Bisping out and threatening him. I never saw that side of GSP he has the swag of a reigning goat.

yeah his almost a decade of being on the UG means shit. I agree he is a dumbass though to count GSP out.

hes not shook, he just was never a good trash talker, aside from "im not impressed by your performance"

Speaking of that line....no way can I be the only one that thinks GSP just misspoke and meant to be respectful and say he was impressed? I think it was just a misspeak for non native English speaker
As someone who speaks French, I will say no. "I'm not impressed" is not a difficult phrase for a Francophone to grasp.

We'll bump this thread when GSP gets mauled.

Bisping is 6'2" and says he is 230lb between fights.

GSP is 5'9" or 5'10" and says he is 185lb between fights.

There will be a huge size difference, and with Bisping's good takedown defense, this might be an unwinnable fight for GSP. Which is sad because Bisping is not a huge name or a guy who gets a lot of respect, so a loss would really hurt GSP in the masses' eyes. It's a really silly fight to make, rather than someone his own size or an older legend like Anderson that everyone always wanted to see GSP fight anyway.

And Bjsbing will be claiming he's the real GOAT by defeating two that were considered the all-time GOAT (way past their prime btw).
