Herrig made $8.9k in September with Sqor

UfC Austin is charging 1.5 hundred for its top ticket.

Agree with this. Good article for fighters/celebs - managers should get on it

You're one of the few in the MMA industry that has actually ever followed up to see a deck, hopefully we can get something going one of these days!

I will be in touch. We want in. Definately. By this weekend if you have not heard from me please email me to remind my lame self!

Good for her, thats a nice chuck of cash.

PootieTang - Good for her making money, but I fucking hate sqor and refuse to click and links to it Phone Post 3.0

Thanks decimated.  That thought crossed my mind -- I was literally picturing the tv show Shark Tank in my head, and someone pitching this sqor site to the sharks.

I guess what I still don't get is how these investers make their money back.  I see people like Moazhino and a few others stating it isn't a sustainable buisness model.  Ok, but surely these "investors" arn't just stupid and blindly throwing money their way.  They had to have been pitched some sort of monotizing method by the site.  My next guess was what Givetofly99 posted:

"click through Afiliate marketing. Every 100 clicks to Felice 10 click an ad. Every 100 ad clicks 10 buy. Its a formula thats almost a science. They are monetizing interaction with low level celebs i.e. Felice, B level actors etc. clicks equal cash."

OK, fair enough -- and good explanation.  But again, I see zero adds to click on that site. https://sqor.com/  Do they come later?

I know it sounds ridiculous but that's how the VC business model works. You throw 50 darts and one of them hits. Phone Post 3.0

I have Facebook but what the fuck is sqor? And who besides celebrities and teen girls have twitters? Phone Post 3.0

double, sorry.

People whine about stories like this then turn right around and bitch about how little fighters make and how we'll "never know how much they make" from other avenues. Here is one outlet they make money from and it has facts and figures of how much. I am always interested in the financial side, whether coming from fight purses, sponsors, or paid social media.

I totally agree with this. It's a small window, really. Get in there.

MMA being my favorite sport, I love hearing this stuff. It's positive. It's nothing but positive.

What pisses me off is when I hear about fighters being ripped off. Could you imagine doing work for a company(no matter what you do to put food on the table) and come payday they stiff you? Thats my livelyhood. We agreed to this. I did my part.

Anyways, I think it's awesome.

0% chance that Sqor is still around 12 months from now in any meaningful capacity.

I was in talks with them, and I love the idea behind it, and will support ANY fighter who does.

However, for me I still have to check with my agent, nonprofit lawyer, and my partners like Water4 to see if this makes sense. We tried to rush it before my last fight... But they take a percentage (VERY UNDERSTANDABLE because of their hardwork) and I have to redirect people to their site and not www.fightfortheforgotten.com

So basically that means that I get a percentage taken off the top and less people to my website. I was just going to use tipafighter for donations... So I think having people heading to my own website and brand makes more sense for now and keeping all of the percentage for donations. If that makes sense...

However, with all that said, I LOVE IT! If I was in the game for just myself, I would most definitely use it, and I think every fighter with the opportunity SHOULD. Phone Post 3.0

Justin--an association would be owned--in part--by you.

The site bounced to--would be your content.

Go to mlbplayers.com or nflplayers.com for examples.

On another note--I saw sqor very recently being used by a currently active UFC fighter--it still seems to be around--no?

everyone used to be doing it now no one is.  Cat is the only one Ive noticed still using it.  The whole link to an annoying sign up screen you have to close in order to see images really didnt help Sqor.  I always found it super annoying.
