YouAreNex - when does he fight?

Strikeforce Jan 30th in Florida. Nick Diaz, Cyborg vs Coenen, Jay Hieron, KJ Noons, etc on the card.

mcpeepants232003 - any word on who he is fighting?

It will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

noons is on the card. word

i hadnt heard about that.

I kind of wish Hershell tried this 10 years ago. Lets say he turns out to be an MMA prodigy and crushes everybody, how long can his career possibly be? 3 years?

Can't wait to see him perform.

Hope they don't set him up with an experienced fighter. He deserves someone who is like 1-0 or 1-1 or something. No matter how ripped Herschel is for his age or how many TKD belts he has, he's still an MMA rookie. His job is to attract the media and mainstream, not win titles.

Johnnie Morton

Always a fitness fanatic, he has stayed in supreme condition with a daily workout regimen highlighted by 3,500 sit-ups and from 750 to 1,500 push-ups. He eats one meal a day — mostly salads and soups, and never red meat — and sleeps only three to four hours a night.

uh, what?

Van Cleif was in his 50's and built like a grandfather and was twenty years past his prime. walker is about ten years past his but still maintained his conditioning

I think he's a blackbelt in Taekwando

hes fighting kj noons? should be a good one

Anytime a pro athlete gets into fighting, it reminds me of Ed "Too Tall" Jones. Jones actually had some ability that might've developed had he been brought along more slowly, but since he brings in a huge audience, the expectations are higher. Somehow people expect that because he's a pro athlete he should do better than another guy starting out.

I remember when I was 20. I too was a lean black man. Banged a fat white chick on that birthday as I recall. Odd day.
